The Ukrainian authorities have signed an agreement with Japan on a $ 100 million loan over 30 years at 1% per annum with an extension of 10 years. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, April 28.

“An agreement was signed between the government of Ukraine and the government of Japan on a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency for development policy in the field of emergency economic recovery and a grant to strengthen the health care system and medicine , “the agency said in a press release.

We are talking about budget support to stabilize the situation, in particular, to ensure priority social, humanitarian, health care costs, support for internally displaced people and other priority costs.

In addition, a grant of approximately $ 2.3 million will be used to purchase medical equipment.

It was previously reported that Japan would organize 10 humanitarian aid flights for Ukrainian refugees. The S-2 military transport aircraft will regularly deliver humanitarian aid to Poland and Romania.
