Rudy Julian’s release on Wednesday on the episode “Masked Singer” angered viewers, with many criticizing the Fox program for hosting a lawyer who spearheaded former President Donald Trump’s attempt to reverse the result. Elections in 2020.
Although the former New York mayor and former Trump personal attorney removed the masks from the contest show on Wednesday night, reports that he was a participant in the program first surfaced in February.
His revelation forced one of the jurors, actor Ken Jeong, to leave the set disgusted.
“I’m done,” he said as he walked away.
Julian spoke at the Trump rally on Jan. 6, 2021, which turned into a riot and temporarily halted the certification of Congressional victory at President Joe Biden’s Electoral College. Julian told viewers that the vote was rigged and called for a “fighting trial”.
Julian was also involved in Trump’s attempt to overturn the results of presidential elections in several states. Trump’s legal team has filed and lost more than 60 cases to do so.
New York State suspended Julian’s legal license after a court decision that he made “seemingly incorrect and misleading statements” during the campaign to change the election results. Possible cancellation is at risk. Julian has also been the subject of numerous defamation cases from voting system companies demanding billions in damages.
