“Now Naftogaz is restoring gas production in the occupied territories. We expect that as a result of the return to operation of wells and other gas infrastructure facilities, Ukraine will receive an additional 500,000 cubic meters of gas per day -day,” said Vitrenko.
According to him, gas workers continue to work at all their facilities that were taken over by the Russians. And some of them have reached the working indicators until February 2022, others are still preparing to continue the work.
Earlier, a new exploratory well was opened in the Kharkiv region, which will allow to produce at least 120,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
Ukrgazvydobycha also launched a new ultra-deep well in the Poltava region, providing production of 100 thousand cubic meters. m of gas per day.
