The Verkhovna Rada will make changes to the budget for the eighth time since the beginning of the year, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported on Friday, October 14.
“The budget will be revised again this year. This is the eighth time since the beginning of the war. The government proposes to increase military spending this year by UAH 387 billion. The source of coverage, as usual, is internal borrowing (including ” printing”)”, – he wrote in the telegram.
The Town Deputy detailed additional costs in the following areas:

Ministry of Defense – for UAH 365.2 billion

Ministry of Internal Affairs – by UAH 12.9 billion

SBU – UAH 3.7 billion

Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense – by UAH 3.2 billion

Administration of the State Service for Special Communications – by UAH 1.3 billion

UGO – for UAH 600 million

Foreign Intelligence Service UAH 45 million
Zheleznyak pointed out that the relevant law #8126 was submitted to the Rada today by the Servant of the People group.
It should be noted that on the eve it became known that the budget for 2023 could not be adopted in October, as planned. In the first reading, the 2023 budget was adopted on October 7.
