The dry cargo ship Mamba B, which was arrested due to the owner’s debts, was sold through the electronic auction OpenMarket of the state enterprise SETAM. Since 2018, it has been in the port of Reni, Odessa region. The press service of the auction reported this on its Facebook page on Tuesday, October 4.
The ship was bought for UAH 14.89 million by Logotradegroup LLC, a resident of Odessa Vladislav Postnikov.
“Soon, the arrested vessel Mamba B will give up the mooring lines and sail on her next voyage, as she has been sold,” the message said.
The winner of the auction must pay for the ship within ten days. The press service of the auction said that if he does not pay before the end of this period, the guarantee payment will be lost. In this case, the right to become the owner will pass to another participant who offered the second price.
Mamba B is registered under the flag of Panama. It was built in 1998. Its length is 99.9 m, its width is 19.5 m, the height of the side on the upper deck is 8.5 m. The vessel has two handles.
The cargo equipment consists of three standers (risers) and four lifting booms.
The ship’s previous owner was BYO LTD, registered in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
