The return of fuel excises should be expected by the end of September. For fuel for the needs of the Ministry of Defense, a privilege of zero excise duty is maintained.
The Verkhovan Rada at a meeting on Wednesday, September 21, supported the return of the excise tax on fuel with 255 votes, said MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Thus, excise taxes are refunded in the amount of:
-
fuel 100€/ 1000 liters
-
diesel 100€/ 1000 liters
-
biofuel 100€/ 1000 liters
-
gas 52 €/ 1000 liters
VAT for all remains at 7%.
“Also, a privilege is made for fuel for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. For the military, the excise tax will be 0 € / 1000 liters. This benefit is valid exclusively for the Ministry of Defense during of martial law and a state of emergency,” said the people’s representative.
He added that the return of excises should be expected at the end of September and clarified that all benefits are valid until the end of martial law, but not later than July 1, 2023.
It can be recalled that the Rada canceled excise taxes on fuel due to the crisis in the fuel market in March. Since July, the situation in the fuel market has stabilized.
