At the same time, 1.7 million tons of agricultural products are shipped from unblocked Black Sea ports every month.
“As of September 1, 1.7 million tons have been loaded and shipped from the ports of the Ukrainian Black Sea. 70 ships entered our ports and the same amount left for the ports of destination,” he said.
To date, the USPA has 64 applications for the entry of ships for loading.
“Before the war, we shipped about 5 million tons of agricultural products from all ports of Ukraine. Taking into account that there are temporarily occupied ports, we expect to reach 3-4 million tons per moon,” said Barinov.
He also mentioned that in August the level of cargo and the level of insurance rates were decreasing.
“That is, the business believes that it works. And the queue of ships observed in Turkish territorial waters proves it. Foreign ship owners and buyers have returned to Ukraine, and we have -export (products) to more than 20 countries of the world. Now mainly to Turkey, Egypt, South Korea and Europe,” said the deputy head of the USPA.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in August Ukraine exported more than 4.5 million tons of agricultural products – the maximum since the beginning of the war.
