The country’s fizzy drink production has been growing steadily for four consecutive months.
Beer production in Ukraine in the first seven months of 2022 decreased by 31.6% compared to the same period last year. This is confirmed by data on the website of the company’s Ukrainian branch PrJSC Ukrpivo.

Thus, the expert estimate of the volume of beer production in Ukraine is 71.4 million deciliters, excluding non-alcoholic beer with an alcohol content of up to 0.5 vol. %.
Malt production for the seven months of this year was 93.7 thousand tons, which is 31.3% less than the same period last year.
It should be noted that in the first quarter the indicator of beer production fell by 51% – to 17.1 million deciliters. In the future, beer production gradually increased – according to the results of the first four months of this year, the fall was 42.8% compared to the same period last year, in May – 36.4%, June – 32%.
Recall that by the end of 2021, beer production in Ukraine will decrease by 5%, to 170.5 million deliters. Malt production also decreased – by 19.5%, up to 218.5 thousand tons.
