“Saturday Night Live” celebrated with tears in her eyes as the first black woman in the U.S. Supreme Court under the cold open sky this week.
“It’s a big deal,” President Joe Biden (James Austin Johnson) told Supreme Court Justice Katanji Brown Jackson (played by Ego Nvodim), causing a stir in the audience.
“I’m happy to do my part,” Nvodim said with a smile. “In my whole life I worked twice as much as a white man, then for a week I listened to Ted Cruz call me a pedophile.”
As Biden heads to the reception, Nvodim Jackson reminds the American crew of inspiration: Judge Ruth Beider Ginsburg and Turgut Marshall (Kenan Thompson), subway director Harriet Tabman (Punk Johnson) and Re. Baseball can earn millions today.
Ginsburg, played by Kate McKinnon, gave Jackson a huge hug.
Your advice? “Avoid the lunch tag” to protect them from justice with sticky fingers.
