Under the terms of the agreement, the loan is issued for a period of 15 years, according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and Director of the Credit Institution for Recovery (KfW) for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Olaf Cymelka signed an agreement under which Ukraine will receive a loan of 150 million euros. This was announced on Thursday, April 7, by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau is a German state-owned bank in which the German federal government owns 80% of the shares.
Under the terms of the agreement, the loan is issued for a period of 15 years (taking into account the grace period for deferment of payment of the principal amount of the loan – 5 years) at a floating interest rate with possibility to convert at a fixed rate after full repayment of the loan.
As a reminder, Oschadbank will allocate UAH 4.5 billion loan to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine to restore critical energy infrastructure facilities affected by the conflict.
