Power engineers restored electricity to 278,000 families in two regions in one week – DTEK

Over the weekend, DTEK partially restored power to Bolshaya Dymerka, Mikhailovka and Rudnitskoye in the Baryshevsky and Brovarsky districts.

During the week from March 28 to April 3, electrical engineers restored energy consumption for 278,000 families in 335 communities of the Donetsk and Kiev regions and in the city of Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of DTEK on Monday, April 4th.

In the Kiev region, electricity was restored to 111,250 families in 271 communities. Also over the weekend, electricity was restored to 2,506 homes in the liberated villages of the Kiev region.

“On April 2-3, DTEK began to restore power supply to areas of the Kyiv region liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Russian occupiers. The company’s specialists partially restored power to Bolshaya Dymerka , Mykhailivka and Rudnytske, Baryshevsky and Brovarsky districts, freed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the occupiers, “the statement said. They also connected a substation feeding the equipment of mobile and telecom operators in Makarov, thanks to which it was possible to restore communications to territories formerly occupied by the Russians.

In the Donetsk region, DTEK repair teams were able to resume power supply for 84.7 thousand customers in 62 settlements in the past week.

Recall that on Saturday DTEK announced that its emergency repair teams will be ready in 1-2 days to begin a massive resumption of power supply to the communities of the Kiev region liberated from Russian occupiers .
