About 13 million soles are invested in electrification projects to cover 93% of the rural sector across the country.
This was confirmed by the Minister Energy and minesAlessandra G. Herrera Jara, who explained that they cover 80% of households in rural areas today, but expect a 13% increase by 2023.

The minister explained that 13 million S/S salts are currently being invested in 4 rural electrification projects that will benefit 6,000 residents of 74 cities in the provinces. Caroise, Okros, Santa and Requay.
He added that another project is under development and requires an investment of SGD 2 million. which will improve the quality of life of 800 residents of 27 communities in the Pariacoto district of Huaraz.
