“Over the past 2 weeks, an additional 48,000 vehicles were imported. The total amount of benefits provided was UAH 23.5 billion. After news about the cancellation of benefits from July 1, the speed of importation of vehicles increased significantly. On weekdays in June, an average of 4,700 cars were imported (previously there were 3 2 thousand) per day, “the people’s representative wrote.
According to him, a total of 211,000 vehicles have been subjected to preferential customs clearance.
“In fact, it is likely that many times more, the capacity of foreigners and our customs are limiting it. For understanding, there is now a queue of 1000 cars and 9.5 km in the same Budomez-Grushev , the Polish side passed very slowly.At the Yagodin checkpoint “The queue is usually 40 km long,” Zheleznyak said.
Import duty on cars was abolished from 9 April. A week ago, Parliament voted his return from 1 July.
