Russian Gazprom announced on Saturday, June 18, the closure of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
“Gas transportation along both strings of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline will be temporarily suspended from June 21 to June 28, 2022 due to scheduled preventive maintenance,” the message said.
As is well known, Turkey and some European countries receive gas through the Turkish Stream.
In recent days, Gazprom has reduced gas supplies through Nord Stream 1 by 60%. As a result, the price of gas in Europe exceeds $ 1,500 per thousand cubic meters.
