Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK has provided medical facilities and military units with 28 million kWh of electricity worth UAH 160 million for free since the start of the Russian invasion, according to the company’s website on Friday, June 17 .
“Since the beginning of the war in the Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, critical infrastructure objects – state and municipal medical institutions, military and law enforcement agencies – have received free electricity from the DTEK Group , “the company recalled.
Today, delivery continues to more than 100 medical and military institutions.
Among them are the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named III Mechnikova, Dnepropetrovsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, Pavlograd Maternity Hospital, Krivoy Rog City Hospital No. 5 and many more.
Recall that DTEK has invested UAH 300 million in the restoration of power grids in the Kyiv region that were damaged as a result of the fighting.
The company estimates the restoration of backup resources and more reliable power supply schemes in the region at UAH 600 million.
