It was learned that the Gazprom Germania group includes distributor Wingas/Wiee, the storage operator astora. The Gazprom Marketing & Trading group also includes retail operator Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Ltd. (Gazprom Energy Brand) and the global LNG trader Gazprom Global LNG.

In 2019, the combined turnover of Gazprom Germania Group reached 24 billion euros, in 2020 – 13 billion euros.

The other day, the German newspaper Handelsblatt wrote that German authorities were considering the nationalization of the German-owned subsidiaries of Gazprom and Rosneft in case energy supplies from the Russian Federation were cut off.

This week, there were reports of searches of Gazprom’s offices in Germany. Gazprom’s German subdivisions are under scrutiny by EU antimonopoly regulators.
