Ukraine in May slightly increased grain exports by rail. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, deliveries increased by 4.6% a month – from 1.24 to 1.3 million tons.

According to UZ data, approximately 5.7 thousand wagons have accumulated on the Romanian border in anticipation of the transition through the Vadul-Siret-Dornesti checkpoint (of which 3.9 thousand have grain) and 1.5 thousand-at the checkpoint in by Diakovo – Halmeu (of with grain – 1.1 thousand).
The average estimated time for the passage of the queue of wagons at these crossings in Romania is approximately 80 days.
