Arizona Cardinals Cornerback Jeff Gladney Dies At 25 –

Arizona Cardinals corner defender Jeff Gladney, the former Minnesota Vikings first-round pick, died Monday at age 25.

Gladden’s agent Brian Overstreet confirmed Fort Worth Star-Telegram That an NFL player was killed in a car crash on Monday morning.

“We’re asking for prayers for family and privacy at this difficult time,” Overstreet said.

Details of the incident have not been named.

Information about Gladney’s death was first made public by Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jelen Regor, who played with Gladney at Christian University of Texas.

“Losing my brother, my best friend, my right hand is not very tolerable,” Regor tweeted. “Rap Jeff Gladney, brother, look at me.”

The cardinals also issued a statement on Gladdin’s death on Monday.

“We are devastated by the death of Jeff Gladney. Our hearts go out to his family, his friends and all those mourning this great loss.”

TCU sporting director Jeremiah Donat also sent a statement to Star-Telegram stating that the school’s football program was “very ruined” by Gladdin’s death.

“After graduating from college and continuing his career playing in the NFL, Jeff maintains a close relationship with TCU,” the note read. “He liked everything at his alma mater. She is a regular on campus and this year she was present at our Spring Exercises and Spring Games, which were proudly accompanied by her young son.

Gladney appears to be returning to his NFL career after the end of the 2021 season. He was the nominee in the first round of TCU in 2020 from the Minnesota Vikings, who fired him in August after being accused of assault charges In the previously engaged in April 2021 .Gladney was found Not Guilty.
