In April, sales of new cars in Belarus fell 3.5 times to 892 units. This is the worst result in the past 10 years, Focus reported on the eve, citing data from the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA).
It was noted that in the passenger car segment, the fall was even greater – by 4.2 times: from 2899 to 691 cars only.
Market leader Lada sells only 280 cars (of which 112 are Vesta). In second place was Geely (114), and in third was Volkswagen (94). Kia sells only 51 cars, BMW 24, Renault 17, and Mitsubishi only 6.
