The other day, information appeared in the media that Naftogaz Trading, within the framework of the three -year agreement, plans to raise gas prices for district heating more than three times – up to UAH 29,392 thousand per thousand cubic meters (including VAT, taking into account the tariff for transport services and the coefficient used when ordering capacity for a day onwards).
“The information that has circulated in a number of mass media that the price of heating in Ukraine has tripled” is manipulative.
It was noted that on May 10, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft law, which, among other things, provides for the introduction of a moratorium on increasing gas prices and tariffs for thermal energy and related services.
“The draft law, adopted by the government, provides that part of international financial assistance for Ukraine will be used to contain tariffs. These funds will pay for the difference between economically reasonable and current tariffs , especially for district heating, ”the statement said.
The company says this mechanism will also allow Teplokommunenergo to pay new gas prices to Naftogaz and repay overdue debts.
It should be noted that the average price of imported gas in Ukraine in April fell to $ 1,228 per thousand cubic meters.
