External debt reached UAH 1,731.83 billion or $ 59.20 billion, domestic debt – UAH 1,100.20 billion or $ 37.61 billion.
The state debt and guaranteed state of Ukraine on March 31, 2022 reached UAH 2,832.03 billion or $ 96.81 billion. Throughout the month, debt rose 3.7%. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, May 5th.
According to the agency, in March the amount rose to the hryvnia equivalent of 102.05 billion hryvnia, and in dollar terms of 3.49 billion dollars.

Ukraine’s public debt is UAH 2,524.18 billion, or $ 86.28 billion. The state -guaranteed debt of Ukraine is UAH 307.84 billion, or $ 8.83 billion.
Earlier, the IMF predicted a sharp increase in Ukraine’s public debt due to a sharp increase in the budget deficit and falling GDP. This number will remain at a high level over the next five years.
It was also reported that Ukraine is entering the peak period of debt repayment. In April-June, 167 billion hryvnias of debts had to be repaid.
