President Joe Biden shot Donald Trump at the White House correspondent dinner on Saturday.
He mentioned that no president has attended the event since Barack Obama attended in 2016. The event was canceled for two years because of COVID-19 and Trump boycotted it during his presidency because of his long work with printing.
“We had a terrible plague … two years later,” Biden said.
This joke was probably the most painful during Biden’s speech, but it was just one. He also targeted Republicans, members of the press, and even himself.
He said he was excited about dinner with “the only group of Americans with a lower approval rating than me.” He also thanked “42% of you who really applauded”.
Biden also referred to Fox News ’aggressive anti-vaccine stance, noting that every network reporter who attended the dinner was“ vaccinated and energized ”as needed.

Biden said that “Republicans seem to support a boy, a boy named Brandon” – a clear reference to the crypto abuse against him that has become a favorite of the MAGAs. “He’s had a good year, somehow I’m happy for him,” he said and nodded.
Later, the president insisted he was not there to attack the residents of parliament.
“This is not my style. I have nothing to say about this in the GOP [House Minority Leader] “Kevin McCarthy hasn’t been recorded yet,” he said, referring to a series of devastating McCarthy records on Jan. 6, 2021, following the Capitol uprising.
But the president was confused when he warned of the “worst threat” to democracy and stressed the crucial importance of journalism.
“The poison revolves around our democracy, it grows heavily on disinformation,” he said.
“Truth is buried in lie and lie lives on as truth,” Biden added. “It’s clear, and I mean from the bottom of my heart, that you, the free press, are more important than you experienced in the last century.”
He invited journalists: “Seek the truth as much as possible, not for pleasure and entertainment, but for clarity and clarity.”
Comedian Trevor Noah Biden followed in the footsteps of Equal Opportunities, which hit Republicans and Democrats.
It is aimed at Senator Kirsten Cinema (D-Ariz.), Who often tries to thwart democratic law. Who would have thought that we would see a day in American politics when a senator could be openly bisexual but a closed Republican? churches.
Noah also taunted Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) for rejecting more than 50 public school math textbooks, calling it an undesirable strategy for neglecting people in Florida to ignore math so they can’t control the voting numbers. deceptive.
